Nate Fenderson

I reside in the heart of southern Maine in the small town of Shapleigh with my wife Lisa and our 7 year old son Tyler. By day I make my living as a Quality Supervisor at a Georgia Pacific facility in Portsmouth NH. Being a Maine guide is a family old tradition with the enjoyment of taking sportsmen and sportswomen to the field or on the water to help make their dream outdoor experiences come true. Honesty, integrity and loyalty are core values I hold dear to me and will pass on to my son. No matter where I have hunted one of my greatest joys is getting into a remote area where there is little to no hunting pressure and observe game act naturally in their environment. Whether I am on the track on a snowy Maine day or in a treestand sitting all day with my bow outwitting game on their own terms, all time spent outdoors pays off extraordinary dividends.

Regions Hunted: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Iowa, South Carolina, North Carolina, New Brunswick CA, Saskatchewan CA.

Specialties: Turkey, Whitetail Deer, Moose, and bear, with either bow, muzzle loader or rifle.

Hunting Accomplishments:
- Registered Maine Master Guide, licensed for hunting. We helped take State Record Moose 2004.
- I harvested the #1 Muzzle loader Turkey spring 2004 ( MDM muzzle loader).
- Given over 50 hunting seminars in New England.
- Chris and I have helped 168 people to harvest 164 turkeys since 2000.
- 8x Buck Award winner for Maine Bowhunting Association.
- Harvested too many deer, turkeys and bear to count.
- Many archery tournament championships.

Fishing Accomplishments:
- Registered Maine Guide, licensed for Freshwater fishing
- Member of Maine Tackle Busters Club in three categories (2x Striper), Bailey Island Saltwater Tournament (largest boat tourney in state) (160 boats) 2002 1st, 2nd, 4th

Christopher P. Cobbett

I reside in the Oxford hills region of western Maine. I live in the town of Norway with my wife Miranda, 2 year old daughter Megan and our seven-year-old son Dylan. By day, I make my living as a high school Social Studies teacher at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. I teach American Studies, Contemporary Studies, and Advanced Placement World History. In my spare time, I guide hunters and fisherman in the woods and waters of Maine with my partner Nate Fenderson. For my own leisure, I enjoy traveling across the country hunting in new areas. About the third week of November, I can usually be found in some tree bowhunting the Mid-west. A day or two after Christmas, I am probably packing my bags and getting ready to for the Southern rut. On the off season, I enjoy participating in calling seminars and introducing potential hunters to our sport.

NORTHWOODS Adventure-TV is a thirty-minute hunting television program, bringing 52 weeks of outdoor adventure to the living rooms of audiences across the nation, reaching 18 million homes and growing.

Northwoods Adventure pro-staff are experienced hunting guides who travel to North America’s premiere lodges and destinations in search of riveting footage of wild game in action. Northwoods Adventures does not employ actors or stars to bolster sales and create a veneer of so-called professionalism, rather, the show provides, “Real Adventure for Real People!” as the motto states and the aesthetic principles purvey in the visual experience of hunting with our guides in the great outdoors.

Hunting highlights have included whitetail deer in Maine, South Carolina, Iowa, WI, PA, TX and Saskatchewan, the record Maine moose with a bow, black bear in New Brunswick and Quebec, wild-boar in South Carolina, and wild turkey and sea-ducks along the East Coast. Northwoods Adventures also features a Tech-Tip that teaches technique and technical information.

We are in our third season on The Sportsman Channel. We provide a high quality show, with a down home feel. Our goal is to show the effectiveness of our sponsor’s products under the same conditions their average clients face. It is our philosophy that hunting shows, and in particular Northwoods Adventures, are the ultimate in reality TV.
